Every Night, Every Day

You know when you’ve met someone you take a
special liking to, and then you find yourself thinking about
them all the darn time. Yet, they’re not so sure another
relationship is what they want. There’s one thing you do know
– he’s gotta be your ‘best friend’.

Lately

We both agree it was the most unlikely thing to happen . Yet, the most
wonderful thing that did happen. Michael, this one belongs to you!

I Miss You

I actually wrote this song as a ballad many years ago and recorded it in
Nashville at the Kitty Wells Recording Studio as part of my
winning the National Starbound Talent Competition. It’s about
a first love, things not working out, reminiscing. With the
release of my first CD, I decided to take a twist on it and step it
up a bit. Those of you who knew my song way back are
in for a surprise! Hope you like it!

What Do We Give Them Now?
Murky, filthy waters; pollution-filled skies; the food we put in
our bodies laced with chemicals… “WE” are the ones responsible for
this whole environmental mess. Just what do we think we are giving
the children of the future?

Words Unspoken

In the deep silence of our hearts there are words. It is a rarity that two

persons would understand the without ever whispering a single thing.

I dedicate this piece to my sister with much love and ‘understanding’.

I hope you enjoy listening to my music as much as I enjoyed making it!

Well this labor of love certainly is taking much longer than I had hoped. At this point, all photos are selected, and the CD sleeve and disc are ready to send off to CD company. After dealing with some personal computer issues, everything should be in the hands of the production company in a few days (it’s the weekend and after hours – ugh!).

Staying positive…………….. we’re making progress and moving in the right direction ~ FORWARD! ~ Krysia

Well, the CD jacket/sleeve is almost finished – and what an amazingly beautiful job by Carla T. Wow, she makes me look good! LOL My website and other social media sites are on the roll and all done by the time you read this; recording is finished, and now we just wait for CD and song sales to take off! Ahhhhhh…………………… so close!

IN THE STUDIO

So here I am, in the studio…finally it’s happening! I am so fortunate to have worked with such wonderful and exceptionally talented musicians on my first CD. As a songwriter, it’s pretty cool to see the ideas in your head on paper. The words that come about ~ saying what’s in your heart, what you’ve experienced in life, or maybe just verbalizing a situation of some kind, is the seed that’s planted. The music is what makes that song grow with the turns it takes, the accentuations and repeats. You sit back a bit and watch your own creativity come alive.

But then – there’s that moment when you realize you’re having your baby: your music baby that is. Okay, sorry………..so I’m a mom! LOL I can’t help but describe it all this way because I know first-hand, like all other moms, that having a baby is the cooliest thing a woman can ever experience in her life. Music is just that, and the neat thing is you don’t have to be a female to experience the awesomeness of giving birth to your music baby. Hey, all you songwriters out there, I know you know exactly what I’m talking about!

So I’m in the studio, and the song I might have had for 10 years or maybe the one I just wrote starts breathing. One track at a time, adding harmonies, instruments, ideas, voice, percussion, guitars, you name it – the song has life. Finally what was mine alone I can now share with all who wish to enjoy what I have created, to hear ‘my baby’.

I’m so grateful to everyone who played on the CD and genuinely offered their ideas to help get across the individual message of each song, and to make this album a success. To Jordan and Brad, I’ll be searching for an expression other than ‘thank you’, because both of you just jumped right in for me, no matter what it took, and walked along side me every single step of the way. I’ll never forget you and your selflessness to help me make this happen.
